Welcome to the Amazon.
Can you live by the law of the jungle?
It is the year 2010 and five adventurers decide to take a quest into the Amazon; they all had their reasons for taking this little adventure. The visionary was looking for the ruins of some lost civilization; the scientist wanted to study the local flora and fauna to find new medicines; the hunter and adventurer wanted to hunt the local game as well protect the visionary; the reporter was there to interview the scientist on his findings and the English heiress was there searching for gems and rare stones. They all decided to band together in the Amazon; after all there is safety in numbers. On one of their trips deep into the jungle they met a young woman who had grown up in the jungle with her parents who had came there to do research as well. Unfortunately her parents had died when she was fourteen years old and she had survived on her own since then. Her parents had built a tree house in the middle of the jungle so that they could be more in tune with the jungle as they studied it. Once the explorers met up with her, she invited them to stay with her as well and of course they accepted. What better way to study the jungle than to become a part of it. It is the ultimate experiment for a scientist; no modern resources, it is back to the beginning. Can man survive in the jungle without his weapons and modern Conviences?

Journals- You must have a journal name related to your character. In your journal you must have at least ten icons; if you have trouble finding icons please contact a mod and we will see what we can do. Everything else we need to know about your character will be placed in your application. You will be required to have a two paragraph update or thread in your journal once every three weeks; if this is too much for you then this is just not the home for you. You will not receive warnings for updates or threads; I expect you to know when you are due. If you should go over the three weeks, you will have until the next set of adds to have something of substance in your journal or you will be removed.
AIM- We only require AIM for plotting, but you can also rp there if you chose. We ask that you be on twice a week for plotting purposes, and if it is possible we ask that one of those nights be the night of adds even if only for a hour or so. We want all new members to feel welcome and part of that is plotting and having some form of sls with our current members. If I catch anyone ignoring new members, you will receive one warning and then if it happens again you will be removed.
PBs- The mods reserve the right to refuse a pb for any reason that we see fit. Most of the time we are pretty open when it comes to pbs, but the one thing we will not allow is any pb that has passed on in real life. This can sometimes cause uncomfortable feelings in some members and we do not want anyone feeling out of place here.
OOC & IC- This is self explanatory, but for all of the unintelligent people out there. These two do not mix, period! If you have a problem with someone ooc work out amongst yourselves, and if the problem continues and cannot be resolved you may contact a mod and we will do everything in our power to be fair to both parties.

Character Limit- For now the character limit will be two, but later down the road if I see that everyone is maintaining their characters nicely I will consider accepting a third character for current members only.
